OUR HISTORY

We are now talking about the THIRD generation for Masserano Cashmere, the ITALIAN company that has been able to enrich its range of products in FINE cashmere following the needs of each single generation.

The Forties

It was in the early 1940s, a troubled period in Italy but of feverish activity for the Biella textile district, that “Cavaliere” Claudio Masserano decided to establish his own wool trade.

Hence the textile tradition of the Masserano family.

The Seventies

The second generation enters the company in the early 1970s with Paolo Masserano, Claudio’s son.

Paolo, fresh from technical studies in the textile area, expands the supply of raw materials and enters new national markets through the creation of a commercial network. His intuition to offer the noble fibre of cashmere to the major blanket factories of the time will prove decisive for the future of the company.

The Nineties

The combination of Paolo’s experience and the creativity of his wife Tiziana, who joins the company after experiences in the world of fashion, leads to the establishment of the Masserano Paolo Cashmere brand.

This brings to life a collection of luxury home accessories in pure cashmere immediately appreciated by Italian and foreign customers.
These years see the first participation in international trade fairs that further enlarge the markets for the company.

The 2000s

Claudio and Cristina, children of Paolo and Tiziana, join the company.
After their university studies and experiences in Italy and abroad in multinational companies in the fashion and industry sectors, they both passionately embark on a new adventure within the family company.

In recent years, the company’s image has been renewed, continuing its commercial development by further expanding the range of the Masserano Cashmere collection, and collaborations with luxury fashion houses have begun.
